8th Annual Liberty Musicfest - Meet the Artists - Sat, Sept. 21st, 2019 - Outdoor Patio Stage

The festival has been organized by DVT Entertainment bringing together musicians, fans and industry professionals for one incredible weekend filled with entertaining & informative events for the past 8 yrs. The festival seeks to introduce music enthusiasts to up-and-coming local and regional artists , on the cusp regional and national artists as well as provide insights to attendees on music industry topics such as booking, touring, streaming, building fan bases  and social media. 

This year, The 8th Annual Liberty Musicfest will take place Sept. 19th thru 21st and we are blowing it up more then ever before!! We are hosting it at new amazing Broken Goblet Brewing in Bensalem, PA.  with Indoor and outdoor stages.

E. Joseph & the Sparrows - 2:35pm

E.Joseph and The Sparrows are a gloom-pop indie rock trio from  Philadelphia. Fronted by E.Joseph (given name Edward J. Neenan), a  Delaware Valley indie music veteran whose previous bands have supported artists such as The Church, The Posies, the late Tommy Keene, Terra Lightfoot, The Chameleons (UK),  Throwing Muses, The Soup Dragons, River City Extension, Dwight Twilley,  and many others. Recently the band won Best Alternative Song for their track, “White  Dove,” and received a 2018 WSTW Hometown Heroes Homey Award. Their song,  “Rabbit Hole” was a top 5 finalist in the Homey Award Song of the Year  category.

Adventure Lost is a 'progressive-pop' trio hailing from the city of Brotherly Love. Comprised of lead singer and guitarist Jack Faracchio, drummer Larry Iaccio, and bassist John Sellers, Adventure Lost is guaranteed to entertain through intensely energetic yet intimate live shows, and relentlessly innovative songwriting.

Inspired by the likes of The Beatles, Queen, Panic! at the Disco, Tame Impala, and many others, AL's sound is a culmination of innumerable, diverse influences that have come together to create something refreshingly unique.

Adventure Lost is as much an ideology as it is a band, believing that everyone must GET LOST in order to truly find themselves. Only when a person is at their most vulnerable can one truly experience the beauty and bliss of the unknown and feel absolutely alive.

Greg McGarvey - 5:35pm

A veteran of multiple rock & roll bands and folk groups in the Greater Philadelphia and New York areas, Greg McGarvey has become one of the most vibrant, emotional, and often startlingly funny songwriters on the music scene today. Equally at ease in a rock club or in a hushed theater, Greg always delivers performances that are passionate, honest, and - given his love of life's unplanned, spontaneous moments - unique.
Greg first touched his grandfather's Gibson guitar at the age of three and has rarely been seen without a guitar since. His father Scott claims he learned to read earlier than expected in order to more easily find songs on Everly Brothers records. By the time six-year-old Greg saw The Everlys perform in person, he knew what he wanted to do with his life.
Soon, Greg will release his first album. Count The Colors (For Marcella), featuring members of Levee Drivers, St. James & The Apostles, Bears Choice, and The Divine Hand Ensemble, is a tribute to Greg's late, great girlfriend, one of the earliest and strongest supporters of his songwriting.
"When I resumed my writing in Nashville [in 2015] after a brief pause, it was time to write about very real time spent with a very real person to whom I felt I owed a debt. This called for not only a resumption of my work, but a raising of the bar. I had to do her justice.
My songs allow me to preserve life's most profound moments and then move on, knowing I can always return to them like a sort of musical time machine.

I aspire to write pieces of music that have the atmosphere of a song that might be playing on a jukebox in some strange dream you're having at 4 AM. Those are the songs I keep."

Jersey born Norton Scott writes songs with the intention that the next one you hear becomes a new favorite. His music immerses listeners into a life swept away by complex relationships and world events, always seeking an underlying truth to tether the soul. What you hear is entirely reproduced live. Scott uses two mics clamped together with one connected to a harmonizer to achieve his rich, unique sound.

Scott began playing and writing music at the age of five, following his guitar playing father's fingers on a ukulele and eventually working his way through classical piano training. He taught himself from there, inspired by folk and rock classics from the 60s and 70s. Raised in a rural farm community with few neighbors meant that music as companion was more important than as vocation, and he would refuse industry offers to take his talents beyond the personal sphere. 

After years of fronting local alternative rock acts while quietly pursuing a writing career, Scott returned to the start. Now residing in Philadelphia (by way of Los Angeles and New York) he's built his "star vehicle" not only to reach further frontiers of exposure, but also new heights of escape, truth and understanding. If nothing else, he's learned at last that flying into the unknown is often its own reward.

New Jersey singer-songwriter Jackie June channels this guiding principle into her 2019 EP Wildflower. Truth has remained a challenging force for the songstress, having spent life suppressing her undying passion for music. 

Now, secure in her footing and firm in her voice, June shares her story of apprehension with the world, instructing those both young and old that it's never too late to leap forward into your truth. Finally harnessing her voice and speaking as the narrator of her own story, June accesses the most authentic version of herself.

Wildflower finds kinship with the sonically delicate and lyrically poignant pop discographies of artists from Michelle Branch and Sara Bareilles to Lady Gaga and Adele. And, more personally, June's infectious refrains and whimsical instrumentation harken back to the 90s airwaves that inspired her youth.
