Find the courage to speak your truth.

New Jersey singer-songwriter Jackie June channels this guiding principle into her 2019 debut EP Wildflower. Truth has remained a challenging force for the songstress, having spent life suppressing her undying passion for music.
Now, secure in her footing and firm in her voice, June shares her story of apprehension with the world, instructing those both young and old that it's never too late to leap forward into your truth. Finally harnessing her voice and speaking as the narrator of her own story, June accesses the most authentic version of herself.
Wildflower finds kinship with the sonically delicate and lyrically poignant pop discographies of artists from Michelle Branch and Sara Bareilles to Lady Gaga and Adele. And, more personally, June's infectious refrains and whimsical instrumentation harken back to the 90s airwaves that inspired her youth.
Having already shared her message of self-love and self-actualization in her singles "Chasing Nightmares" and "All The Colors," June explores a deeper vulnerability in Wildflower, finally taking off her mask and finding beauty in the broken.

Over the years, Looseleaf has played all over the Greater Philadelphia Area including venues and events like: Boot & Saddle, Ardmore Music Hall, Milkboy, The Wildwood Blues Festival, Citizen's Bank Ball Park, Bourbon & Branch, and World Café Live. The band notably opened for Questlove at the Pennsbury High School Prom, known as the greatest prom in America. Set Time: 1:00pm

We met in 2013, during fall semester of our first year at college. In the five years since, we’ve lived together, eaten together, drank together, studied and argued together, laughed together, written and played together. We’ve played in the same bands, visited the same cities, befriended the same people. For five years we’ve been writing and singing songs for loves lost and loves found, songs for the joy of friendship, songs to grieve pain and death, songs unashamed and unafraid to hope for better days, songs for losing religion, songs for finding it. Our music concerns that which most stirs the human spirit. We need this affirmation, this catharsis, to beat back the isolation and alienation that grows in and between hearts during these changing times. We’re counting on the hope, compassion, and laughter that run through our songs to lead us out of emptiness, and to reach our neighbors where they live.
We’re ready to share this first family of songs in the album called Skippack, named after my hometown—the place from which I have begun every journey of my life, and the place to which a part of me will always long to return. Likewise, I know Tim and I will return to the music, this spiritual home we’ve found, for as long as our hearts continue to need it—and gratefully take with us anyone who wants to stay there awhile.
