The Dreaming (Ex Stabbing Westward), My Enemy Complete andf Dive 9/5/13

The Dreaming return to Legendary Dobbs on Thursday, September 5th 2013
w/ My Enemy Complete and Dive!!!!

Advance Tickets: http://dvtevents.com/show.cfm?id=122625

Formed in Los Angeles, THE DREAMING deliver a passionate and truly unique mix of new wave, metal, electronic and darkwave - capturing an aggressive and emotional rock ‘n’ roll eruption. Featuring vocalist Christopher Hall, former frontman of platinum-selling artist Stabbing Westward along with former Stabbing Westward/Econoline Crush drummer Johnny Haro. Also featuring Rich Jazmin (from Kerli) on guitars along with Brent Ashley on bass guitar. The Dreaming have grown a strong underground legion of fans. "PUPPET" was Christopher's first major label release since the demise of Stabbing Westward.

What do musicians do when their bands meet their maker? They create something new with other musicians. So it is with My Enemy Complete, established by former 51 Peg musicians Brian Fasani and Carlo Pizarro as well as Bilaal Y (vocals/guitar/synth) of Chrysalis. On their six-song comprehensive debut EP, the US trio merges dark, complex arranging of Alternative and Progressive Rock with departures toward Tool or APC and random, razor-sharp slivers of industrial. It not only reads well, but it sounds good as well. The interaction between atmospheric fragile, at times melancholy tinged moments and massively powerful lava-flows in combination with stirring waves of melodies and Bilaals distinct vocals you will be caught from the second you experience it. You can also detect something new each time you listen, electronic details, which swirl around within epic strings. An intensive tryst between introversion and volcanic eruptions.

2013 Liberty Musicfest - Selected Artist's Session: 12

August, 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th
Brought to by: DVT Entertainment, The Legendary Dobbs & ThatMAg!
Sponsored by: SSA Music, Unclaimed Bands, SongBites4u, Starr Hill Brewery, Reverbnation

It's About a 1 1/2 Months away from the 2nd Annual Liberty Musicfest at The Legendary Dobbs. On June 20th, 2013 we selected 54+ bands to perform out of 220 artist submissions. The talent is beyond amazing and will be 4 days of WOWs!
Leading up to the Liberty Musicfest we will be introducing to you all the artists, 4 at a time.
So check them out. This is going to be an epic event!!! Check out these artists below!

Mach 22 - from Philadelphia, PA.

"While the band has been hailed as Led Zeppelin meets Lenny Kravitz, that is too narrow a vision of the band’s music and image. Everything from Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses vibes right alongside Bootsy Collins and Miles Davis, even the Stones. It’s not just in the sound, but in the attitude, presence, and aforementioned, authenticity. Each thread is finely woven to create a signature that is at once instantly recognizable and welcoming, yet remarkably one of a kind."
 - Rustyn Rose, Metalholic Magazine

No Risk - from Clementon, NJ
http://www.reverbnation.com/norisk

“popVLTR: What are some of your proudest moments in music so far? No RiSK: We've done a lot of really cool things, but my proudest part of it all is the fact that any accomplishment we've achieved has been a product of our own work, we never really had a lot of help with booking, merch, etc. This band has taken us across the whole country. We played at the Whiskey A Go Go on a Friday night, and it was unforgettable. We've shared the stage with amazing bands like the Misfits and Casualties, Far From Finished, The Swellers ... hundreds upon hundreds of really talented people that I am proud to say I played with. I'm proud of this band and what it stands for, and especially the guys in it that make it all happen.”

Cold Roses - from Philadelphia, PA
http://www.coldroses.net

"Philly’s Cold Roses borrowed their name from a Ryan Adams song, and their sound from country rockers like Neil Young, The Band and Kings of Leon. Robert Clancy, the band’s leader, is not afraid of an incendiary, electro-powered guitar solo, nor does he shy away from the sweetness of close, soaring harmonies. His rhythm section cranks a hard-punching, slow-moving beat that embodies perseverance, blunted longing and a wary acknowledgement of the worst-case scenario. “Let Me Go,” the big crowd pleaser, arouses thirsts that can’t be entirely quenched by a longneck, an aching for true love, a good fistfight and the open road."

"Though they're from Philly, Cold Roses sound like they're straight out of a Texas roadhouse with their old-style country rock/blues combo."

Tony Tedesco & Full Fathom 5 - from Asbury Park, NJ
https://www.facebook.com/TonyTedescoAndFullFathom5

A staple of the Asbury Park music scene, Tony has honed his craft through many different projects. From spoken word to Whiskey fueled barrel-house rock to solo acoustic, he has explored writing honest yet accessible material culminating in his first release Full Fathom 5.
Along with Grammy winning engineer Tom Camuso (Steve Earle's Washington Square Serenade) and his musical partner Gorgo Beach ha...ve produced a 40 minute, 10 song release that explores the human condition. The lyrics are layered with deep cut references to Shakespeare, Plath, Dickenson, Dunn, the bible and many others yet still maintains an accessibility with universal concepts and simple truths. This release has enlisted the services of the Asbury scene's most talented players. A band that's not afraid to take a chance while keeping it's ear to the pulse of the lyrics.. Not brewed for local consumption. Best listened to from dark corners with nary a clue of whence we came.

Tone - from Deleware

Keith Monacchio - from Trenton, NJ.
http://www.reverbnation.com/keithmonacchio
“Like a good book, Keith Monacchio’s songs drag you into his world and introduce you to unforgettable characters, however gray and unwelcoming that world may seem.”

“Keith Monacchio is among the finest singer/songwriters ever to hail from the Garden State. Essential listening!! ”

“Keith Monacchio is a guy who will leave his mark on our collective music history.”

La Capitana - from Philadelphia, PA.

Garage Rock and Dirty Blues in a sexy mess of loudness!
La Capitana was started by 2 best friends passion for music. Ryan Gaughan of the band Among Criminals and Stef Emery began pulling their love for Rock, Punk, Blues and Soul together to create the band.

The Jackson Rider - from Philadelphia, PA.
http://www.thejacksonrider.com

“Big ups to The Jackson Rider, their set was filled with catchy foot tapping melodies. I have only seen them once before but I remembered their songs and that is cool. You know you got something when that happens. They have a little country twang to them mixed with the reggae vibe. The bass player and drummer are twins so u can only imagine how tight they were together. And the singer just has a cool voice and he writes really good songs. And also real good people too. ”
Glenn Landing - Glenn Landing blog
“The Jackson Rider: This is a blend of Rock, Pop, Folk, Soul & just downright Ass-shaking music like you've never heard before! Fans of Matisyahu, G Love , The Avett Brothers, Train, Sister Hazel etc will jump on this bandwagon quicker than you can say, Hell Yeah ! ”
Vince Volz - Double V Booking /DVT Entertainment

Stolen Rhodes - from Philadelphia, PA.

“Rock and Roll four piece. Blues country rock. This seems to be a trend. I have no problem with that. Great vocals. Great dueling guitars. Their music has balls. And their set hasn’t started to fade; some of this genre tends fade 3/4's through the set. Overheard someone, who’s been here every night, saying these guys were the best band of the festival.”
       That Music Mag

Geri Smith  - from Unionville, PA
http://www.reverbnation.com/gerismith

Singer Songwriter Geri Smith is very busy these days, playing her own songs, writing with Nashville writer Sol Knopf, and singing and speaking the role of the Ladybug for Rob Dickenson's Children's Tale "The Ladybug's Shelter". Geri's songs have been used in Films and by the Bose Corporation to demo their stereo systems.

Palaceburn  - from Philadelphia, PA
http://www.palaceburnrocks.com

“This EP is a solid rock/metal release with great musicianship from all of the musicians. It’s an emotional set of songs, but makes for a pleasant listen.”
“The self-released EP is out now, and is definitely worth checking out. For damn sure, this is a band worth watching.”

Brothers in Exile   - from Philadelphia, PA
http://www.facebook.com/brothersinexilenj

Formed in the summer 2012, Brothers in Exile blends the power and melody of early metal, the speed of modern metal and the traditional vocals and drums of classic heavy metal. Influenced by Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Metallica and Megadeth, as well as the modern work of Pantera, Machine Head, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Avenged Sevenfold, In Flames and Trivium. The music of Brothers in Exile is a powerful mix of pulsing rhythm that entertains and engages audiences in a manner reminiscent of great metal legends.
