Dirty Soap 7:00pm
Philadelphia, PA.

Dirty Soap is a Rock group from Philadelphia.  Founding members, Spoon Ferguson and Thomas Martin, met in high school and quickly formed a musical bond.  Blending Spoon’s raw vocals, affinity for traditional Blues, and unique guitar sty-lings (he plays left handed with inverted strings) with Thomas’ smooth  Doo-wop approach and catchy song writing.  The name Dirty Soap represents these opposing styles.
Over the years they crafted their unique sound on Philly street corners and parks - dubbing themselves “Doo-wop Punks.”  The band expanded with the addition of a rhythm section while working the open-mic circuit.  Shane Leddy providing his booming stand up bass and Walter Foley adding groove and texture with the drums.  Years later they acquired Shawn “The Kid” Touhill with his intricate and biting guitar leads.  The pieces are now all in place and with hard work, restless dedication, and a youthful excitement and love for their craft, they strive to be amongst the many greats to come out of Philadelphia.

With their first two albums garnering critical praise for being one of the Top 10 Local Albums of 2008 and 2010 by The Philly Weekly and The Philadelphia Inquirer, NLMS remains unable to sit still. New songs are being mined from the fertile brain of Jamie Olson as we speak—raw, unpredictable gems tinged with crystalline sadness and bright glimmers of hope—pure anodyne for the soul. It only gets better…and louder! New Album 'Nowhere Else' Spring 2019!

Stereotytans 9:00pm
Philadelphia, PA.

Many millennia ago, the earth and sky gave birth to the mighty Tytans– Kronos, Okeanus, Hyperion & Prometheus – who ruled benevolently during  a period known as “The Golden Age.” Unnerved by an ancient prophecy, Kronos grew fearful of his own children and devoured each of them whole. After escaping their father’s belly, Zeus and his siblings waged a great war,  eventually overthrowing and entombing the Tytans deep in Tartarus; the dark abyss where ancient souls are cast away to  rot in perpetual punishment. Regrettably, the reign of the new gods became tainted by Zeus’ power-hungry greed and  monstrous infidelities. As the Golden Age decayed into turmoil, the Tytans, with the aid of Zeus’  daughter Athena, were released from their prison and seek refuge in the modern age. Now living in secret and concealing their powers, the Tytans have formed a rock band in the hopes to convert new followers into an army of Demigods to help battle Zeus and return the Tytans to their rightful place among the heavens. And thus, STEREOTYTANS was born!
The Philadelphia-based, comic book inspired, hard rock band, is taking Olympus and Earth by storm. These aren’t your ordinary rockers, however.  The Tytans describe their sound as “if Living Color, Fishbone and Radiohead had a three-way while Public Enemy watched and then birthed sweet, sweet musical babies with hints of soul, funk and metal mixed in for good measure.” Fans who experience crew’s elemental superpowers will be-transformed through a truly unique musical experience.

House of Curses 10:00pm
Decatur, AL.

With their brand of what’s being called “Life metal” and a sound that is of their own, House of Curses, a metal band from Decatur, Alabama, deliver a passionate brand of metal that beautifully blends melody and harmony with thunderous drums and crunching guitars, grooving bass lines, and emotion felt vocals.
This 5 piece, assembly of music veterans had toured and taken the stage with Sevendust, Buckcherry, and Straight Line Stitch with previous endeavours. Dedication and a love for the art of making music led to the current lineup of what has turned into Alabama’s band to watch.

“A gloomy yet irresistible metal band from Decatur, HoC is quickly picking up interest from all over. Their Deftones and Sevendust influences are heavy but does not mean their sound isn’t uniquely their own. Incredibly interesting and variant vocals by Dan Stockfisch shine in a bed of James Parker’s thundering drums and heavy guitars and bass. Josh Thompson, Josh Smith, and Brad Long intertwine their intricate performances to create an incredible overall guitar sound.”
Bhamrocks.com says

“House Of Curses has a prolific and dark style that matches the status of most successful metal acts today. Their debut album is well anticipated in the months to come.”
Stonewall Jackson from Hardnailer

“It’s hard to pin them down to any single style of music. They are a hard-rocking band, which often drifts into pieces of melodic, mathematically perfect metal, then drops down into deeper, more somber and intense sounds, which counters and adds strength to the opposing hard rock sound.”
Matthew Hall of Land+Lake Magazine
