Main Stage

Labella & Poole - 7:00pm
Philadelphia/ Scranton, PA

They spent their first year playing in breweries and cafes in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and tracking their debut LP, Skippack. The album, released in November 2018, follows the story of their first five years making music together, and is founded on friendship, compassion, and hope. LaBella & Poole draw inspiration from introspective and spiritual songwriters including Neil Young, The Avett Brothers, Trevor Hall, and Josh Garrels.
The duo, now based in Philadelphia, will be gigging locally and regionally in 2019 in support of their album, sharing their songs and story with all who will listen.

At Best - 7:50pm
Philadelphia, PA

At Best are a trio of metalheads gone indie.
Formed in 2017 in South Jersey, the band features lead vocalist and guitarist Lennon Cantwell, bassist Alicia Dickerson, and drummer Steph Brettman. By combining their various musical backgrounds from past projects, At Best's sound ranges from 90's D.I.Y. nostalgia to heavy-yet-melodic shoegaze. They've been compared to the songwriting and lyrical styles of Elliott Smith, the ferociousness of The Smashing Pumpkins, and having a familiar driving force like the Foo Fighters.
Formally known as Burned Out Still Glowing, the trio have toured around the States and play frequent shows in the Philadelphia area. They have played along acts such as In The Presence of Wolves, Old City Revival, Such Gold, Pointless, and Cappadonna (yes, really!). Over the past two years under the new name, they've gone forth with a mission to outperform themselves with every set through their high-energy live shows. At Best have painted their sonic canvas with raw emotion over driving instrumentals, striving to put the human element back into contemporary music.
At Best released their first debut single "Words in a Web" March 2nd, 2019 and released their second single "Changing Shape" Friday, June 28th; both singles were recorded and produced by Matt Weber at The Gradwell House. Their most recent single is accompanied by a music video directed and produced by Jay Yachetta of Luxwav Films. At Best debuted Changing Shape on its release date at "Live at 5" on Philadelphia Alternative Rock Station Radio 104.5.

Max Swan - 8:50pm
Philadelphia, PA

A saxophonist, vocalist, and producer from Philadelphia by way of Perkasie, PA, Max Swan channels influence from the likes of Stevie Wonder, James Blake, Donny Hathaway, Michael Brecker, and Lenny Pickett. He's gone from nothing-but-jazz, to everything-other-than-jazz, and all stops in between. Initially being the loud alto player that showed up for the jam session every week, Max slowly took on more opportunities in hip hop production, as both a bandleader and a studio producer, playing with a number of artists and groups during their growth in the Philly music scene; notable names include LP Stiles, Kuf Knotz, Mic Stew, and most recently, Aime. Over time, the saxophone he'd lay on tracks led to supplementing keyboards, and writing string and horn section arrangements, many of which can be heard on Aime's most recent release, "The Book of David", available on iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora. The work that was done with these artists led Max to start laying vocals on his newer music, starting with "So Much Chime" (also available on iTunes, Spotify, etc.). Swan received accolades during his new process with Councilman David Oh's PHLlive Center Stage Music Conference, Ernest Stuart's Center City Jazz Festival, all while continuing his rigorous study of saxophone, mainly by way of Lenny Pickett (SNL), in order to truly reach proficiency in the altissimo (higher) registers of the instrument. Swan's music combines his passions for jazz fusion, 21st century soul, and contemporary hip hop, featuring his vocals, saxophone, and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). "The Fisherman", his debut, was made possible via The Kimmel Center, and will be available soon.

Awards:
2017 Kimmel Center Jazz Residency Grant Recipient
Michael Brecker Saxophone Award (UArts)
Rick Lawn Arranger's Award (UArts)
Finalist, Tri State Indie Music Awards 2015; Jazz Artist of The Year
Finalist, PHLlive Center Stage 2015

Another Day Dawn9:50pm
Lehighton, PA

Another Day Dawns is a high-energy hard rock band from Lehighton, Pennsylvania. The band started out in 2010, with drummer Nick McGeehan and guitarist Tyler Ritter learning classic rock covers. The addition of frontman Dakota McGeehan would mark their evolution into a full-on original act, writing music at a breakneck pace. The trio quickly generated buzz across the northeast Pennsylvania scene, earning opening slots for Fuel, Sammy Hagar, Godsmack, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, and many more, as well as touring with Austin John Winkler, formerly of Hinder. Through years of non-stop show booking, the band cultivated a strong, loyal fan base.
Fresh off these shows, a chance encounter in 2016 at a local music conference introduced the band to Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum engineer/producer David Ivory (Halestorm, Silvertide, The Roots). Quickly they began work on new material, one of which would become the band's debut single "Love She's After", mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound and released on Ivory's label Flexitone Records in early January 2017.

Jesse Gimbal - 10:50pm
Philadelphia, PA

Jesse Gimbel is a multi-instrumentalist and the owner of Jesse Gimbel’s Basement recording studio located in the Philadelphia area. From the performance of guitar, bass, drums, and piano to expertise in each step of the recording process, Jesse is self-taught and knows all aspects of what it takes to make a great record.
Gaining comparisons to Death Cab For Cutie, Conor Oberst, and Elliott Smith, Jesse has now recruited members from September Call-Up (Christian Bitto) and Night Windows (Ben Hughes, Ryan Buzby) and James Suit to lend a skilled hand in recreating the album in an energetic, explosive, cinematic live setting.
