"Bluesy","Ballsy","Soulful" and "Convention Defying"….These are some of Words that Have Been Used to Describe Memphis Crawl. The Crawl was Formed in 2004 by Charismatic Frontman Matty O'Brien on The Blue-Collar Streets of New York City….The Son of a Counter Culture Mother From Brooklyn and A Country-Blues Bred Outlaw Daddy From The South, Matty was Raised on a Strict Diet of Rock n Roll and Delta Blues and even as a Small Child it was Clear that this "Old Soul"... Was a Natural Performer....Soon after putting the Group Together Matty Found some Of the Heaviest Cats Around…..Guitarist Stevens, Bassist Slim Earl and Percussionist Michael Powder... From Their First Jam Session Together it was Obvious That Their collective Energy and Chemistry was Truly Something Special and a Once in a Lifetime gift. This Four Piece PowerHouse has Toured all over the U.S. from NYC to Los Angeles and parts of Europe....Their Fanbase Known as "The CrawlDogs" have Become a Huge Funky Family... Kind of a Cross Between a Counter Culture Commune and a Traveling Circus. If You Get a Chance to see the band Live...you will quickly find out why their motto is "play like its your last night on Earth!!'.

Making "New Music With An Old Soul",
Frank Viele may very well be the "everyman" of Singer/Songwriters.
A bourbon drinking, cartoon watching, blue-collar entrepreneur; his musical roots started on his grandmother's piano as a young child, developed as a teen tailgating with an acoustic guitar in the parking lots of Dave Matthews Band concerts, and blossomed on the road as a young adult performing as the quintessential "weekend warrior" in the East Coast Jam and Singer/Songwriter scenes. Now with the 2015 release of his first full-length album, Fall Your Way, Viele has found himself singing his heart out on stages and radio stations across the country supporting a range of acts as eclectic as his song catalog. At home on stage with nothing but a stool, glass of bourbon, and an acoustic guitar, or side by side with his power house band, Viele has found himself on stage with modern singer/songwriters such as Pat McGee, Ryan Montbleau, Gavin Degraw, and Tony Lucca, Jam and Rock oriented bands including Blues Traveler, Eric Lindell, Turkuaz, The London Souls, and Zach Myers of Shinedown, as well classic rock legends including The Marshal Tucker Band, Foreigner, Ambrosia, Bret Michaels, and Bob Marley's Wailers. Rivers

“Rivers is an all-acoustic trio. Whether playing in or out on the streets this group changes it up and throws it down with surprising song and sound. Indie meet folk, folk meet pop and pop meet Rivers.”
Rivers is a smattering of genre-bending sounds—tapping into folk rock, pop, funk, blues, chamber pop, Americana, roots rock and alternative—that make up a fluid and dynamic indie folk style. But, when you think you can put a finger on their overall sound, Rivers keeps you guessing. That’s the beauty of their music. After just two short years of playing together, Joe Schaefer, 25, Matt Sinkovitz, 31, and Vincent Yarnell, 25, are eagerly working to get their distinctive folk amalgamation into the eardrums of as many people as possible. “People really love our music,” said Sinkovitz, the percussionist. “It’s amazing to share what you’ve created with people and get such a positive response. It makes you feel like you are doing something right. We have kids sitting around us at farmers markets, and we play senior homes. We can hold it down for most audiences.”They regularly play at some favorite local spots—Appalachian Brewing Co., Little Amps, Suba and The MakeSpace in Harrisburg, as well as the fourth Monday of every month at Andalusia Tapas Bar in their hometown of Carlisle. They’re also picking up gigs at bars, restaurants, markets and festivals in places like Philadelphia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Don't Believe In Ghosts
( NYC )
http://www.dontbelieveinghosts.com/The Grape Room Friday March 18th
The music comes first. That has been the driving philosophy behind everything that is Don't Believe in Ghosts.
The very first thing that New York City songwriter Nathan did after putting his long time indie touring band, Man On Earth, on hiatus was to dive back into his studio, writing and recording over 30 new demos within a four month period. With each new idea he found himself pushing his own boundaries further than ever, discovering a vast array of songs that had long been trying to find their way out.
“The idea was to move forward, not worry about what I have done in the past… to create a new reality for myself. A big part of that was to loose my worry in what some may think or say and to not give any energy to the ghosts of my past. With that I organically had a new band name.”

Don’t Believe In Ghosts' debut EP ‘Change Your Mind’ is in fact the first of two EPs the singer is releasing, collectively titled ‘Change Your Mind, Change Your Luck’. Released in the Fall of 2015, ‘Change Your Mind’ is what Nathan refers to as a foundation of music that this entire project will be built on. With the help of friend Rick Eddy on drums and a cameo by longtime friend and collaborator Matt Fink of Prince & the Revolution on keyboards, Nathan returned to his earliest roots of writing, recording, producing and mixing on his own. “I was also extremely lucky to have the ears, advice, and tremendous help from many friends, including Cooper Anderson who has produced a large portion of music with me in the past, Myles Ouziel, who was an original member of Man On Earth, and the multi-Grammy award winning Ken Lewis, who is an absolute studio genius.” As strong and potentially stand alone this debut EP is, Nathan insists this is only the beginning and the best is still yet to come
