Kid Felix - from Laurel Springs, NJ

After forming in May 2011, Kid Felix quickly began to make themselves known within the Philadelphia music scene. They released their first EP November 2011 called 'Head Above Water', and with its success they gained international exposure as the Grand Prize regional finalists of the 2012 Hard Rock Rising Global Battle of the Bands, as well as playing both Bamboozle and the Warped Tour in the summer of 2012.
Kid Felix then went on to solidify there role in the music scene when they released their second EP, 'Young Luck' in October 2012. 'Young Luck' grabbed the attention of some very important figures in the music industry today, allowing them to play to huge crowds in venues such at the TLA, World Cafe, Susquehanna Bank Center, Electric Factory and more.
Kid Felix' is currently in regular rotation on 93.3 WMMR and sitting in the top 30 charts.

Mo Lowda & The Humble - from Philadelphia, PA.
http://www.reverbnation.com/molowdathehumble

"The five track opus ('This is Planet Earth') is fueled by infectious rhythms, a plethora of emotional thoughts and influences from a number of genres. The crew’s diverse style and instrumental depth is breathtaking and a joy to listen to.
...This is Planet Earth is one of those music collections that has the power transport you to that perfect moment in your life." - AmpedSound magazine

Evan Russell Saffer - from NYC

“if Axl Rose and Layne Staley had a baby, that demented boy would have a voice on par with Saffer; wily and nasal yet dark, pained, and very, very twisted. Neon Gas, as a whole, safely breaks away from his previous project to explore a more polished sound with a full chorus on several of the tracks. As a self-proclaimed rock opera, Evan collects a kaleidoscope of genres and melds theatrical vocals that conjure up glimpses of a grandiose stadium rocker, peppered with cascading metal guitar riffs in Chemical Marketplace and Dream of Love’s Last Dying Breathe. In fact, I can clearly imagine the likes of Ville Valo of H.I.M. taking the stage as Evan’s antagonist if this were to ever be adjusted for Broadway. I’m going to be sorely disappointed if there isn’t at least some pyrotechnics in the coming tour. On the second breathe, you notice the simplistically soul shaking, nearly grunge qualities in, With You Alone, which reverberate with Nirvana, Smells Like Teen Spirit. ”

Only Living Boy - from Hackettstown, NJ
http://onlylivingboy.com

“This is riff-driven, no-nonsense rock and roll. Stark, economic music that reaches out and grabs you by the throat.” ”
THE AQUARIAN WEEKLY

"...the attitude and weight of Black Sabbath and Hawkwind, the stoner sludge of Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss and the experience and mood evident in the Tom Waits/Mark Lanegan inspired vocals. The first single, “Spread Your Butter”, is a stoner rock sock hop, Eagles of Death Metal would blush to put out."

East of the West - from Cherry Hill, NJ

“East of the West made their debut on Gashouse Live last month. Instantly they struck a chord with our audience, who kept asking for more and more songs. Their sound is simplistic enough, yet the songs aren’t predictable. Their catchy and poppy without being boring. And they’ve got a sense of humor about themselves, which makes you listen very closely to the lyrics. They’ve only been on our airwaves for a few weeks, but East of the West have been a great find in the Philly music scene.”

Minerva - from Philadelphia, PA.

Music From Another Room - from Pittsburgh, PA
http://www.mfarrocks.com/

Brothers Alex and Steve Foht began making music together at an early age. In 2007, they formed Music From Another Room, an indie pop rock group whose earliest influences were bands like The Juliana Theory and Jimmy Eat World. Shortly after releasing ARSON in 2009, WXDX, WDVE began... playing “Reason to Believe,” as did college stations WPTS,
WCAL, and WCHE.
Music From Another Room has shared the stage with some major acts including Big Time Rush,
Action Item, The Maine, and Honor Society. The band actively continues to tour their region as well as feed their hunger for performance. What started as two brothers has become four.

Rowboat Casino- from Funkadelphia, PA

Winter 2013 will debut the release of two singles, "Flamethrower" and "Test," the first of which will be accompanied by video.

The Dell Project - from Philadelphia, PA
http://www.thedellproject.com

We be performing at The Twisted Tail on Aug, 16th of LMF

Philly rock band, The Dell Project, has arrived onto the original music scene. Started in 2009, the band has steadily grown together as mature musicians with a singular goal of making their own style of music stand out from the norm. The Dell Project relies on influences by everyone from U2, the Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., The Roots, the Red Hot Chili Peppers… and many, many more. With their unique sound, paired with lyrical topics covering life, love, late-night fun and everything in between, there is little doubt that The Dell Project has something for everyone.

Wake Up Paradise - from Freehold, NJ

“Now I am here to introduce you to a band that goes by the name Wake Up Paradise. The four men that make up Wake Up Paradise cohesively come together to make a sound that is the result of mixing together rock and pop with an angelic set of pipes. Okay, do not go thinking that Tim sounds like Mariah Carey. He is more like is Jason Mraz turned it up a notch and ditched the Vh1 crowd. When I listened to Tim’s rapid, yet pleasing delivery in Hits The Ground, Mraz was all I could compare him to in my head. Oh yes, Hits The Ground. That is the name of the only musical bite they Wake Up Paradise is giving up to nibble on when it comes to their Facebook. Are they hard at work on more music? Fans of pop rock better hope so. If you like bands that have a rock base, but are able to make you sway in a way that you might if you were say…watching This Century, then do yourself a favor and check these Jersey boys out.

Even for a group that has clocked thousands of miles and performed at hundreds of venues across the country, it’s amazing that discovering a sound still proves to be the most significant challenge in a band’s journey. So if there’s anything that the Brooklyn based rock band The Energy has learned during the recording of their 4th album, Streets of In-Between (Produced by Scott Riebling: Fall Out B...oy, We the Kings, The Academy Is), it’s that at times the most succinct statement can be the most powerful. The message of the album is clear: when you take the road less traveled, your life becomes richer and more fulfilled.
Selling out many of New York City’s and Boston's premier venues over the past two years, the band currently ranks among the top grossing indie acts in the Northeast. And yet despite touring with artists such as 3 Doors Down, Vertical Horizon, Ryan Cabrera and Eve 6, and having had music featured numerous times on both MTV and ESPN, the band chooses to keep ambitious. The Energy recently appeared on Voice of America (VOA) “Border Crossings” program for some 100 million listeners, and shortly thereafter helped to host an episode of ESPN’s “Inside the Big East.”

Queen V - from New York, NY

“Queen V has opened for Billy Idol and Bon Jovi and features Vernon Reid (Living Colour) and Tom Morello (Rage) on her new album. The endorsement of these legends should be enough to get you to believe that V is the real deal – an anti-establishment rock personality who can shred.”

“Her driving T-Rex-meets-the-Sweet guitar tone and rough, no-bull voice are intense enough to melt your ears, eyes and nose right off of your face.”

“Counting the likes of Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury and David Lee Roth (as well as few prominent females, such as Janis Joplin and Joan Jett) as musical role models, Queen V has set out to bring rock ‘n roll back to its essence. Her plan is a simple one. “It’s taking those tried and true rock ‘n roll values that I was raised on and throwing it around with my own story and my own experiences of being a woman in music and also an artist coming up in New York City.””

Nine Times Blue  - from Atlanta, GA
http://www.ninetimesblue.net

“[Nine Times Blue] have developed a sound that channels such artists as The Smithereens and Marshall Crenshaw and in places reminds one of elements of The Squeeze and the Gin Blossoms. The first full-length album by Nine Times Blue proves that power pop is alive and well in the Atlanta area."”

“Modern, mature, rock/power-pop...in cahoots with the Matthew Sweet/Fountains of Wayne/Crowded House/Gin Blossoms/Jellyfish school of Beatlesesque guitar groups.”
Jack Rabid - Big Takeover

The Teeth - from Harrisburg, PA

Formed in the Fall of 2010, The Teeth hit the ground running with their debut EP “Eat.Sleep.Drink.” The four piece group delivers a one-two punch of high energy post hardcore and dirty southern melodic rock; drawing from influences such as Every Time I Die, Glassjaw, and The Bronx. The group is made up of road worn friends from previous touring bands with one common interest: Divide and Conquer. In the short two years of their existence, The Teeth are already pushing to make their mark. Sharing the stage with the likes of Stray from the Path, Letlive, The Greenery, The Bunny The Bear, and Valient Thorr, with several small tours under their belt, there is no end in sight. Following the success of “Eat.Sleep.Drink.,” The Teeth released their first full-length album, “Homewrecker,” on August 14, 2012. Recorded in April of 2012 with Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, This or the Apocalypse, Texas in July) in Lancaster, PA, “Homewrecker” takes the party rock and roll tone from “Eat.Sleep.Drink.” to a whole new level. With a combination of hardcore, rock, metal, and even punk elements, “Homewrecker” is not for the faint of heart.

The Skeleton Frames - from Philadelphhia, PA

Sweet Leda - from Annapolis, MD

“. . . Sweet Leda was this year’s delightful find . . . Julie Cymek’s distinctive voice brought it strong . . . Think Adele mixed with Mary J. Blige with a certain South Of The Mason-Dixon Line ache that’s all her own . . . I listened to the CD in the car on the way home and it made my trip north on 83 quite the funky ride. There is not a bad song on it. I recommend you get one for your own ride or house party or whatever. You will not be disappointed.””
Randy Bucksner from Tri State Indie

"Sweet Leda have played the Dewey Beach Music Confernce 2012, The South Street Springfest 2013 and several shows at Legendary Dobbs for me and each show was more powerful and moving than the next. Julie's vocals are powerful, soulful and silences a crowd in awe, than backed by funky bass lines and grooving backbeat which always steals the show! One of the bands that I was tell everyone they must experience!!!
Jim Thorpe - Legendary Dobbs / DBMC / DVT Entertainment

Revolution, I Love You - from Philadelphia, PA.
http://www.revolutioniloveyou.com

““Cotton Shirts,” Revolution, I Love You’s new single, is a slow jam. Sort of. Building from 808s, snap samples and a single-note piano melody to a dense, reverb-drenched climax, it draws equally from mid-90s R&B, JamesBlake, Massive Attack and M83.”

“Now that was something COMPLETELY different! ”
Wendy Rollins - Radio 104.5 Philadelphia
“It’s here, in RILY’s love of percussion—specifically, the kind of IDM blasts that were the calling card of Aphex Twin and Atari Teenage Riot in the ’90s—that things become interesting, and where RILY wrestles themselves from the pack.”

Vox Time & Keys - from Wenonah, NJ
